God’s Provision
When I went on my Beauty for Ashes trip, each person on my team was assigned a coach: someone they could reach out to for support and counsel. After prayer, I was assigned a woman named Emily who works for Chick-Fil-A. When I came to Georgia in the fall seeking a part time job, Chick-Fil-A wasn’t hiring but I turned in an application anyway and later got a job in retail. One day I happened to run into Emily around December. She said she saw my application and was wondering if I was still looking for a job, to which I said no. Fast forward to January 1st, my flight landed in Georgia coming back from Christmas break and I got a text from my boss saying they wouldn’t have enough work to bring me back on. Immediately, Emily came to mind. After I got my bags, I messaged her asking if there was still a possibility for me to work at Chick-Fil-A. Not long after, she messaged me back saying she would pull my application and give me a call. It was so awesome the way God provided this job for me right when I needed it, giving me the connections I needed a year ago! I really only felt jobless for about 20 minutes. I had my orientation today and am so excited to work for this amazing company. Today I’m celebrating God’s provision!
